Technical control at site

Needs
Technical control provides a service of continuous monitoring at a site along the construction process fulfilling the need of reducing compliance risks, reworks’ and litigation costs.

Approach
ICMQ India, based on inputs provided by customers (Quality Plan, customer requirements, project description, designs and drawings, etc.), prepares a tailor-made "control plan" for projects outlining the type, amount and frequency of checks to be carried out from the beginning of the construction process to the end.

Inspection activities at site may include:

  • preparation for a site-audit
  • quality control during each of the construction phases
  • verifiying construction compliance with applicable documents and codes
  • verification, certification and surveillance with regard to suppliers
  • quality-control for incoming materials
  • testing building materials
  • non-destructive tests
  • technical inspection of structural processes (reinforcement, concrete casting and placement)
  • inspection of electrical systems
  • verifiying the functionality of technological installations (e.g. HVAC system)
Specific tests can be executed in qualified testing laboratories to check the strength, durability and suitability of construction materials (aggregates, rocks, concrete, bricks, mortar, plaster, steel and polymers).
A systematic reporting system is delivered to customers and includes:
  • Site Inspection Reports (SIR) delivered at the end of each inspection audit
  • Intermediate Inspection Report (IIR)
  • Monthly Report (MR) addressed to the Chief Technical Officer
  • Management Information System (MIS) addressed to the Top Management
After the work is completed, ICMQ provides customers with:
  • Final Inspection Reports regarding those activities duly audited
  • Inspection Certificates if the inspection results are positive
